TWS is once again presenter of the Juniors race
TWS has adopted the support of the juniors and stands for it with its name. Patron in 2004/2005 was Uwe Peschel (Gerolsteiner) who will do some training kilometres together with the juniors in spring 2006. The experience the boys will get thereof is unaffordable.
During the race on September 1st, the 17 to 18 years old boys will fight until the winner is found out. They will be encouraged by some of the top cycle-stars in the finish-area. In 2005 about 15.000 spectators were watching the juniors’ race – even more than they have had during their own World-Championships.
Details of the race:
- Start: 5:30 p.m.
- Duration: approx. 50 min, 40 laps
- Rating lap: every 10th round (5 – 3 –2 – 1 points)
- 10 teams with 4 cyclists each
